Comments: 04/04/1874: Left South Shields under sail, via Ramsgate 22/4, and The Lizard 27/4
18/08/1874: Arrived at Hobson's Bay, via the Cape
04/08/1876: Sent to assist the QUEENSLAND (2263g/1875) & BARRABOOL (942g/1874)
after they collided off Wilson’s Promontory, Victoria, South Australia.
12/08/1901: Arrived at Ballina from Melbourne, via Newcastle.
09/04/1908: Lost on the Richmond River bar after towing the SOPHIA ANN (165/1883) across the entrance; on letting go the towline SOPHIA ANN got into trouble, and both vessels were wrecked.
13/07/1908: Registry closed
Note: the owner Andrew Fenwick, was a son of the late Thomas Fenwick (who had died 14/12/1896). The brothers Thomas and John Fenwick had parted ways in 03/1883, John keeping Sydney which flourished and Thomas at Ballina, which didn’t.
