Many grand claims were made for this humble tug as a way of generating interest.
She was never a search & rescue vessel or part of the Cunard fleet.
She did help tow HMY BRITANNIA out of Teesport, but hardly a Royal Escort.
17/04/2012: Purchased by a group of volunteers & moored at Ardentinny for restoration
07/2012: Broke loose from her moorings and ran aground on a sandbank
16/04/2013: Broke loose from her moorings again and ran aground on a sandbank
04/05/2013: Taking on water at her moorings, so beached to avoid sinking
12/11/2013: Raised & towed to Rosneath for breaking up by DRB Marine Services Ltd
