Comments: 02/03/1872: Advertised for sale with an upset price of £1200
27/03/1872: Re-advertised for sale with an upset price of £1000 to ensure sale
16/12/1872: In collision with BERLIN of Leith off North Berwick, Firth of Forth during thick fog. She was struck on the starboard side causing great damage to the paddle box, engines and boiler.
The barque that she had in tow struck her on the port paddle box.
Both vessels assisted back to Leith by BERLIN which appeared to have little or no damage
06/07/1873: Grounded on rocks close to the Martello Tower, Leith in dense fog, her engines were immediately reversed and she was got off
Her captain then headed full steam ahead to try and beach her at the Sandport Slip
Unfortunately she settled in the water just outside the Old Dock, Leith
09/06/1873: Raised and taken to the Sandport Slip where the damage was found to be minimal
04/03/1887: Grounded at the entrance to Crail harbour, refloated on the next tide with no damage
